Dr. Imad Bayoun
Educator and Lecturer
Dr. Imad Bayoun, born in Beirut, Lebanon, holds BS and MS degrees from the American University of Beirut and a PhD in Entomology from Texas A&M University. He works as the Insectary and Quarantine Officer at the University of California, Riverside, and is pursuing a PhD in Islamic Studies at the Graduate Theological Foundation. Dr. Bayoun is actively involved in religious education, particularly for youth, lecturing for the Muslim American Society (MAS) and its Oak Tree Institute project. He taught Aqeedah and Fiqhas-Seerah at the Islamic American University and has published audio series on topics like “Purification of the Heart” and “Muslim Character”.
