Nuriyah Cindy Aguilar’s personal journey to Islam, filled with trials of identity and purpose, inspired her to co-found Fitrah Embraced. This initiative provides mentorship, modest clothing, and community events to support new Muslims. She also serves on the core team for ICNA Embraced at the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley, where she works to create safe and welcoming spaces for reverts. Nuriyah’s work is driven by the conviction that helping others find their place in the Ummah is a powerful way to strengthen one’s own faith.
