Imam and Leading Religious Figure

Imam Jawad Ahmed is a leading religious figure in New Jersey, focused on Islamic scholarship, youth engagement, and dawah (Islamic outreach). He holds degrees in Islamic sciences (International Islamic University, Pakistan) and physical sciences (University of Maryland) and is certified in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University, Egypt.

He has held positions as an Imam and Director in several mosques in New Jersey and served as the Director of Religious Studies at Al-Ghazaly Islamic High School. Imam Ahmed is known for his work with the National Dawah Organization 1-877-Whyislam, having managed its hotline for two decades and helped over 200 people convert to Islam. He is also a significant mentor within the Young Muslims organization of ICNA.

Presently, Imam Ahmed is the Religious Director for the Muslim Community of New Jersey in Fords and Masjid Wali in Edison, where he gives regular sermons and lectures.
